How does the time get away? It feels like I just posted the Star Trek post but that's already six days in the rear view mirror.

Going into the dentist today to get my permanent crown put in to replace the temporary one. I sure hope that's the last dental stuff I need to do for a few years.
I finished my last read through of Wraith of Talera, then decided it wasn't the 'last' read through. I'm letting it sit a few days and will give it one more going over. I want it done and sent off so I can get into the next one, Gods of Talera. I've got a couple of short stories to do first, and an article on C. L. Moore.
The last couple of days I've been taking a needed break and just playing Skyrim and reading.
All right, enough. I promise a more substantial post in a couple of days.

A permanent crown (I think we call it "cap" here) seems like heaven compared to the root canal that often precedes it. Good luck, Charles!

Chris, once you get away from the regular routine then it all comes down to the inner drive, and my drive seems to be fading fast.
Prashant, at least they haven't had to do the root canal, which is nice.
Riot kitty, was in pain last night. It's already feeling better today. I slept a lot last night.

One thing they don't tell you (or at least, my dentist didn't) is that crowns aren't as strong as your natural teeth. Be careful once you've got it. :/

Charles-I enjoy your personal updates. As an old dental assistant, patients used to ask us if they really needed to floss. We would tell them 'just floss the ones you want to keep'!

Good luck with no more dental expenses. I find that the older I get, the worse they get. I've had two crowns and a root canal so far this year.
