In the meantime, the exceptional Ty Johnston, over at life on the written page has reviewed the first two of my Fiction Techniques series of ebooks. And he said nice things! I hope you'll get a chance to check it out. And have a look at Ty's own offerings of both print and ebooks. He's got a range of items listed HERE. I've mostly read his fantasy stuff, which is excellent.
Take care.

Wow. That sounds like an extreme amount of things to get done.
You must be very patient for grading.
old profs can do MANY things by deadline, as you know ;)

With that many papers, it's no wonder creativity leaks right out your ears, and you've been having some no writing days. :)

Otimistic, sigh, indeed.
X-Dell, my day is made better! :)
Barely middleclass, I am constantly fascinated with the bourgeois sense of detail.
But sloppy writing, from the word go, tends to make me want to red-pencil, straight off:
e.g,
“Martinez had been standing under somber skies for what seemed hours..."
(Don't talk to the skies standing there somber. They are depressed and probaly won't answer). :)
Ivan, somber is a good word, just not here.
Oh! Breathtaking post. Really this site is awfully cooperative for all concerning Massive Quantities. I got little important helps from here and exceedingly recommended it. Of course I will be on familiar terms with my relatives and relevant competitors concerning this blog and will wait for more. Thanks a lot
