Lana is going in this morning (Dec. 21) for surgery on her shoulder, for a torn rotator cuff. I will try and post later once she's out, but won't be visiting blogs on my regular rounds today.
UPDATE: It's 12:45 now and Lana is HOME, and asleep. She came through everything OK. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes.

Enjoy the anesthesia...it's the best part of being cut on. Take care of your wife and don't even think of this stuff.
ReplyDeleteI hope she has a quick recovery from the surgery.
ReplyDeleteWishing her the best, and you, too.
ReplyDeleteYikes! I hope it all goes well and that she recovers soon. {{}}

Best wishes for speedy recovery!
ReplyDeleteYikes! I hope all goes well.
ReplyDeleteThat's rough, my friend. The recovery is a slow process. I've had friends who've had it done and everything has to be thought out before any action taken. We do so many things without pausing, it's really easy to have a setback so she'll need you to remind her.
ReplyDeleteI hope all goes well and she has a quick recovery. I'll pray for that outcome.
ReplyDeleteHope Lana is healing by now, Dean. Blog when you can. We'll still be here, and hoping for her improvement.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely sorry to hear about Lana.
ReplyDeleteTorn rotator cuff?
I hear there is a short exploratory operation where the rotator cuff can be examined without resorting to a C-scan. I hope that's the case. It's called
arthroscopy. Likely, this has already been done.
I am familiar with the procedure, though it was done on my poor "foo-foo" valve when they tried to find out what in tarnation was wrong with my prostate.
What was wrong? Nothing.
Just really a staph infection.
They inserted this coathanger with a light at the tip right up my poor urethra, only to find nothing wrong.
Bastards. I should have sued! :)
Praying for Lana's speedy recovery.
Cheers.
Hope she feels better soon.
