Some of you may possibly remember me remarking toward the end of 2010 about how I was so behind on reading that I was going to cut back on buying books for a while. Ha ha ha haha hahahhahaha. HA! Below is a sample of ‘some’ of the books I’ve bought since saying that. This is all fiction and doesn’t include the some $300 bucks I spent on nonfiction at Borders’ Going out of Business Sale. I absolutely cannot stop.
I have many of those titles. And I've yet to read many of those titles. I keep buying but can't seem to read as fast. :)

Deka, it is. It's written by Kate Sterling, who is on my blog lists. I've read a couple of hers. Almost "sweet" erotica if there is such a thing.
G, most of these are kindle purchases so the prices were right. The Borders sale. Well, who can resist a book sale? Not me.
David J. West, I actualy got Moer than Kin" by him through a free giveaway he was having. I've read a couple of his other books and liekd 'em.
I'm so broke and forced by this evil called "reality" i can't afford a cheap e-book. But! This makes me not jealous aof those having one. instead i wish him a long enjoyment (man, this last sentence soundedlike a X movie).

Damn! Now there are a buch more I need. I've been saving change and dumping it into a Coin Star for Amazon credit for Kindle books.

ReplyDeleteDeka Black, many of these are Kindle, which also meant cheaper prices. I actually got two of these for free through author giveaways. Can't get a better deal than that.

ReplyDeleteThe only thing holding me back from purchasing more books is the fact that I work in a pretty big library and my office is at the end of the second floor stacks . . . and also the number of times I've moved in the past, dragging all my books with me . . .

Ouch. We have the same problem. We're anxiously waiting Danielle's departure (with her book collection) for grad school and an apartment, which will free up three big bookcases. We're already squabbling over who gets them, but judging from the homeless books piled around, I think Steve will win.
