For some reason, "The Face of the Waters" comes to my mind right now. Not pulp, but I found it just amazing. I had read it from the library, and then I searched a lot for it, to finally find it second-hand. I'm checking now, and I see that it has been reprinted and it's on Amazon. And, yes, I love pulp also!Vesperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12417602625059442986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28221839.post-85039707418416404162018-06-22T14:23:49.922-05:002018-06-22T14:23:49.922-05:00It's not easy delivering something 'differ...It's not easy delivering something 'different' to your readers, gutsy, I hope it works out.Shadowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05999801833389058410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28221839.post-56196541340465547742018-06-21T09:02:12.240-05:002018-06-21T09:02:12.240-05:00Oscar, thanks, man

[sigh] That attitude brought us New Wave SF of the 60s and 70s, an attempt to push SF in a strongly literary direction which almost killed the genre. The top 10% or so of it is very good (Harlan Ellison comes to mind) but most of it is IMO boring, unreadable, pretentious drek.

AngieAngiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11920578701763415331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28221839.post-17665383706798798352018-06-08T13:15:17.813-05:002018-06-08T13:15:17.813-05:00I agree with Claudia.
